I have already spent nearly four months since I arrived on the beautiful island of New Providence. This journey is a grand voyage of the Maslow pyramid. With the natural evolution of the personality, everybody starts looking after not only for selfish advantages but how you can enhance your environment. After we find basic needs like shelter, daily food, and water, we can start working on a higher purpose.
This journey was the same for me, from the first day when I didn't even have drinking water to the day where now I am cleaning the ocean by the bottle to the next bottle every day.
Every day when I have time, I swim from one end to the other of the property. It is around 1.5 km distance swimming. Every day is a new experience. Sometimes I see a stingray with a wingspan of 1.5 m or a nursing shark with the same length. When the sun is shining, some tiny little fish with yellow and red colors swim in front of the glass of my diving glass. Today I also found a new small stingray and a barracuda. I think it is an extraordinary moment how I can clean their living environment from the mess that less-educated humans make by dropping bottles into the sea.
This mindset is also one thing that I didn't finish at home. I can take the same mindset to my workplace. I can make a clean environment around myself with my codes. How you behave in nature will take the same to your workplace.
I think this is why we need continuous evolution around ourselves with our human contacts. Lead by example and show sustainability everywhere.
