Over the past weeks, I spent finding the cornerstones of my strategy. After such a role change, what I took, it is a fundamental task. Not easy to bring up the magic glass sphere and find out what to prepare for the future.
The most essential lesson I learned with Covid and the changes in everything around me is not to create a master plan but rather a resilient one that can adapt fast to different directions. This applies not only to the strategy but also to budgeting and company-wide planning.
More we can adapt to changes, we will have more chances to survive. We can learn a lot from Nature in this way. It showed in the evolution, not the strongest who survive but more who can adapt to different situations.
I often practice this exercise in my daily life also. That's why I learned how to adapt my body to cold water. I got the same feeling when I was swimming in the stormy sea this week. In the water, which is not soo deep, I can adapt to this unpleasant situation, but if I meet the same in the middle of the ocean, I would have colossal panic really fast.
I think over my years, with these experiences, I can use my cold blood in daily situations also. If I can handle the stormy situation in the sea, I can handle every other situation at my workplace.
