Today we are living in a radical different age, than the roots of democracy defined. The society of Rome and Athene was different. The technology advancements, and the right-wing populist politics shows that we need a radical shift from the actual advancements.
As more and more AI-assistants, and humanoid robots integrated to the society, it require adoptation like aviation control adopts to the drone, and UAVs.
The "Digital conscience"
We need to define a moral compass that gives guidance both humans and AI. To not make a dystopian utopia, we also need the "digital vaults" - that preserve all interaction, decision, environment. That belongs to the individuals, and must not controlled by governments. It is part of the personal freedom, where everybody interacts with their "digital-twin" to have support for their day to day life, and the decisions of their life.
The digital-twin also benefit from the moral compass, but we will describe later how it works.
The problem of the democracy
In our actual version of "democracy"- the system tweaked to support the interest of a political party, especially in Hungary. 200.000 votes in a highly educated region, equals to the 30.000-40.000 votes of a region, where you can earn the "X" at the right place with a bag of potato. This results an election result where a party gets 2/3 earning votes of 2.1 million people in a country of nearly ten million people.
In this sense, I partially agree with a concept of a social scoring, but with a more transparent moral guidance. Like tax payment to the society is only one dimension, if you have zero emotional intelligence, while others have minimum tax payment, but have higher social intelligence.
Like building machine learning algorithm, bias filtering is an important task, so in the society!
Social engineering - building a moral compass
In every society there are people whose role not questionable. But with a digital-twin in the privacy preserved vault, we also have proves on a trusted code - that can be validated independently. The code runs within the vault, so only the result visible - only the owner of the data see the details. If they open for development their digital twin help to be a "better (wo)man". Who not interested, and happy with their score, they can live with the "consequences". Like in a school study. If you repeat the exam to have a better score, it is your decision - for some the "just passed" is enough.
On a society level, it is easy to understand the result. You have a surgery in a hospital - who do you bet with your life? Who passed the study with the best score, or who just passed it?
It is the same for the economy, the governance of a country! Decisions affect the future of every country! We can gamble with the elections, but making factual decisions work better in most cases.
