In the past two years, I spent a lot of time at a Dog Rescue foundation. Volunteering is also suitable for personal development where you put something in front of your ego in the priorities. I spent quite a lot of time with mentally broken dogs, and I learned patience. It takes time until they open up. This year in March, we lost our second dog from the three of them.

As only one of them survived aging, it was natural to adopt a dog from the Dog Rescue Foundation. Adopting a new dog comes with great responsibility. You need again to move out of your comfort zone. You need to teach everything from scratch again.

Again and again, you need to remember how you taught your dog previously. After I started to refresh my knowledge, I found that excellent parallelism in how I communicate with my colleagues is similar to how I communicate with the dog!

Cesar Milan is one of the most famous dog trainers. I read some of his blogs, which was a great starting point.

He has a theory about how dogs sensing other living organisms' energies, which reflects their behavior. Just think it over, how you saw similar things at meetings!

First scene:

Two dogs - One has fear, the other sense this, and turn dominant. Have you seen a similar scene in meetings?

Second scene:

One dog anxious. Start barking. Others follow him. Find similar in your memories!

Third scene:

The dog starts to pull the dog leash, to try to pull him back, he starts to pull stronger to find out who is stronger! Do you have similar memories from a meeting?

That's only a few to find similarities in your everyday life. If you know how you can handle these situations, you can use your knowledge in everyday situations. If you adopt a dog, you will have plenty of time to practice solutions that solve these problems. Use your time with your dog to learn.
