Anyone interested in AI remembers the story of Microsoft AI back in 2016. They launched Tay, who really soon went crazy.
This experiment powerfully shows we are far from the AI that everyone would imagine. Most of us think about AI like Jarvis in the Ironman movie. There is a super intelligence that answers all of our questions.
To understand my solution, we need to find the root causes. For this purpose, we need to understand human development. How our personality and mindset, values change, and develop over time.
Many philosophers defined development maps for different dimensions. You can think about the developments of needs by Abraham Maslow, Cognitive development by Piaget and Wilber, moral development by Kohlberg and Wilber, and many more.
We have more than one and a half thousand different types of intelligence in human beings. For a better self, we are continuously developing these. Even at humans, these development maps are not known.
How would it work for AI if we don't understand?
That was the reason why I started to build a framework for human development. In this coordinate system, I define the development levels based on the work of prestigious bright philosophers. Everyone could identify their current development level in each dimension. They will find what they will gain with development to the next level.
I think this development is unavoidable for organizational development. Each organizational development starts from the persons, and then the sum of the vectors will make the change within the organization.
But how it related to AI?
AI needs the same development as humans from childhood to adult.
And here is my conclusion!
AI developed only around cognitive patterns. It will be a highly intelligent thing, but without signs of empathy and social intelligence. Just think about the brilliant human minds who invented great things?
Most of them were really unsocial ones, and most of them were hated!
The same happens with AI also. I have seen signs for additional developments. For this, a great example of Soul machines! They created emotional intelligence for digital humans.
But this also one of only a few types of intelligence.
