To better understand, how we are able to survive the next financial crisis, we need to better understand the evolution of organizational cultures and parallel with these the evolution of societies.
In 2017, I have been at a conference which has been organized by Microsoft. They invited 100 C-level IT executive around the world. For me, it was really a surprise, because no Microsoft products were advertised.
Instead of products, they presented how they transformed their culture. In a short story, they used Carol Dweck's Growth Mindset research.
After this event, I dug into organizational culture really deep.
After being familiar with the growth mindset, and after a job offer from Google I started to read László Bock's Work Rules book about Google's organizational culture.
After a little while, my current organization started to implement the Agile working model. This was enough motivation, to search for the perfect organizational model, which currently exists.
I think this is the Teal model, which has been found in Frederic Laloux work: Reinventing organization. I think this is an excellent work, which summarizes the organization evolution until nowadays, and shows some outlook for the future.
Now let's start with the first level, the Red organizations!
The picture symbolizes the organization perfectly. In this organizational model the most important factor: the Fear. Typical current examples are the street gangs and civil war areas.
The best example for these organizations in nature is the pack of wolves. The alpha male using power to maintain his leadership. The leader of the red organizations must constantly demonstrate dominance to maintain his power. Sometimes the leader associated with magical stories, to make greater. They surrounded mostly with family members because they don't trust anyone else. Anytime, when they not stable in their position, immediately someone come who replace them. This kind of organization doesn't have any plan for the future, they only concentrate on today surviving. These organization models started with conqueror armies. In dates, it originated b.c. 10.000.
