Preface

Let's start with some background story, where we are naive, and don't have the assumption the car manufacturers serving nation state intelligence purposes. Just think about the recent F5 case, where another government cyber operation revealed after years of presence in the internal systems. When the systems compromised over a year there is a great chance that they will find vulnerabilities in the IT development, or they place them into the code. It is not different with EV cars.

How many surrounding cameras has a self-driving EV car? Depending on the advancement of its system minimum 8-12 but it can reach 40 for a self-driving taxi.

The real advancement, why I differentiate the self-driving car from the others, for the self-driving they have enormous compute capabilities also, which not only usable for self-driving, but also for the discovery in the surrounding environment. Just on my casual weekend run I counted over 20 Tesla cars while I was running. Imagine how these cars, check the environment continuously day by day. Do you know how big is the input what is required, to send for such a car to identify a VIP person? Less than a kilobyte.

Now lets assume, you have access to a Brand like Tesla, and you give the order these cars, to seek for a person, and send intelligence records on match. How frequently they will find the person.

The bonus for the task, typically the cars are not in the lower segment in regard pricing. Where VIP persons typically live? In the wealthy suburb, where these cars has a way more occurance. Imagine as these cars goes into governmental buildings parking places and take photos/video-s where other surveillance devices easier catched.

So in our modern world nations no more need to send spies to foreign countries, just send the cars, and wealthy people or people around them will pay for them.

Sound like a good business, right? People pay for nation state surveillance.

The advanced topic: Foreign controlled army in your land, with your support

People afraid of AI, they will become aware of oneself. But they not afraid of the self-driving car get out of control, and follows other instructions.

Like this Xiaomi SU7. If we combine the topic with the previous. Network of these cars, can map important persons location, movement, calendars. They know where those people tend to be.

They can hunt down them, autonomously. So like I mentioned in the former section. We are paying for an alien nation's army to be on our land. They are like a cover agent which waiting for their activation. We never know when they will be activated, and whom will activate them.

Imagine how surprised will be a nation when without passing their border a nation state attack will happen?

These cars already running on our land, your land, and waiting in a dormant state.

Next combine them with drone shipped warheads. Many company which has national security importance might already has such cars, with automated garage entry. So these autonomous assassins can enter their target location.

These words might sound like a Science Fiction story, but I expect within a decade became reality. So now we have the right time, to start thinking about the solutions - once we identified the problem. We are not only buying from one country, but from several ones, so we multiply the risks.
